The medieval winery of San Martin del Castañar is a unique place in the Sierra de France where you can discover the history and tradition of wine making. We will guide you through a journey that will immerse you in history, showing you the process of artisan wine production, some curiosities and anecdotes. During the unique visit to this traditional winery of the 16th century you will taste 2 wines, a young man and an ageing of grape variety "rufete" accompanied by Iberian sausages of acorn, village bread and olives according to season. At the end of the visit we will reveal a secret that has remained hidden for five centuries. You will also have the opportunity to purchase wines and other local organic products in the winery.
