The evening focuses on how people in Hiroshima spend a night out. You’ll enjoy a casual dinner spread across three different venues, with a drink at each stop. Along the way, you’ll sample more than 10 local dishes, including fresh seafood, tempura, grilled snacks, and other Hiroshima favorites that go beyond okonomiyaki. Your local guide keeps the pace relaxed and is happy to help with dietary needs when possible.
The tour begins on Hon Dori, one of Hiroshima’s best-known shopping streets. Here, you’ll see how locals move through the area in the evening before heading into nearby backstreets and alleys. As the night unfolds, downtown Hiroshima reveals its lively, everyday side, filled with small eateries and a welcoming atmosphere.

Home to the Hiroshima Peace Park, Hondori Shopping Arcade, and Okonomimura (Okonomiyaki Village), Hiroshima’s downtown is a bustling hub of history, culture, shopping, and restaurants. It is also the home of Hiroshima’s business district. Crisscrossed by six tram lines, the area is convenient to traverse and easy to explore by foot. With the aquamarine waters of the Hiroshima Bay just to the south, downtown Hiroshima is the perfect place to enjoy some succulent oysters, high-quality Japanese sake, and Hiroshima-yaki (Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki).
