Guadalajara Private Food Tour

This gigantic market is vibrant! Explore its three floors bursting with sights, sounds, and enticing aromas. Be prepared for a sensory overload of colorful crafts, fresh produce, and delicious food stalls, a fully-immersive experience of engagement with Guadalajara's working-class culture. Since this is a private tour -just for you and your companions- we can go at our own pace. Make sure to bring cash in Mxn pesos so you can get whatever you like (ATMs available if needed). There’s an endless variety of souvenirs and handicrafts, and we can take as much time as you need to find the perfect items. As part of the culinary experience we will try: 1. Tortas ahogadas: a tomato salsa-drowned pork carnitas sandwich. 2. Tacos de barbacoa: slow-cooked marinated beef, served in grilled tacos. 3. Tejuino: a cold beverage made from fermented corn. 4. Artisanal candies and/or seasonal fruits. All dietary preferences are thoughtfully considered!

On our journey from the market to the birria restaurant, we'll spend 1-hour exploring Guadalajara's iconic landmarks and architectural treasures. Keep in mind, this is a private tour, so we can pause anytime to take a break, enjoy a coffee or ice cream, and capture as many photos as you'd like.
