Hands on cooking class preparing a 3 course meal, 1 type of home made Ligurian fresh pasta with its own traditional sauce, 1 type of meat or seafood Ligurian dish, 1 Ligurian dessert. The meal will be enjoyed in Anna's garden with a beautiful sea view

Ligurian Pansotti with walnut sauce

Ligurian big "tortellini", green stuffed and dressed with typical walnut sauce made in the mortar

Stuffed calamari with peas

Casserole of stuffed big calamari cooked with fresh peas

DESSERT

Peaches and Amaretti cake

A soft short bread cake with a core of fresh peaches and crumbled amaretti biscuits

Lessons are held at Anna's in Cogorno village, at the above address. For those who can't reach Anna's place by car and independently, please contact her in advance for a pick up/drop off service. Most convenient meeting point will be either Lavagna or Chiavari train station.

Authentic Ligurian Cooking

What a wonderful experience! Anna was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. She picked us up from the train station, welcomed us into her beautiful home, and taught us how to make delicious pansotti, walnut sauce, and stuffed vegetables. We learned so much, then enjoyed the meal in her gorgeous garden overlooking the sea. It was an authentic Ligurian experience that we’ll always remember. Highly recommend!

Cooking with a View - as authentic as you can get for a cooking class!

Anna is a saint and a nonna you’d want to have in your family. Opening her home, with a breathtaking view, was so very special. Anna walked us through recipes start to finish and educated us along the way. It was lovely, she was lovely, the food was lovely. A great addition to a trip in Liguria region.

The cooking class with Anna in Liguria was an absolute highlight! Anna is an incredibly friendly, open and authentic Italian woman who brings a wonderful ease to the entire experience. We prepared a delicious 3-course meal together, with Anna always responding to our needs and wishes. In advance, we were allowed to express our food preferences, and the result was simply fantastic! What a great cooking experience

What a wonderful day we had with Anna. Such a warm host. We felt like we were at home with our cousin. cooking. She has a wealth of knowledge of the history of food in the region and did everything possible to accomodate, what we were looking for.
