This experience isn’t just about bars, streets, and subcultures. It’s about Resistance, identity and survival. We dive into Peru’s underground scene to explore how urban tribes (punks, goths, metalheads, and more) have resisted, created, and redefined our culture under political repression, racism, and classism. You’ll learn why South America bleeds guitars more than synths, how lyrics became protest, how being Peruvian was (and still is) an act of resistance, and why for many, rock wasn’t just music, it was refuge. This is your crash course in Lima’s rawest countercultures, guided by someone who lived it and studied it in the heat of every Peruvian Moshpit.
