From here, you’ll stop at a traditional Japanese warehouse and other historic buildings that populate the city landscape. After you’ve soaked up the key scenery, try some of Matsumoto’s finest sake with a tasting experience! After all this walking, you’ve surely worked up an appetite! Continue the journey by activating your sense of taste and smell with an authentic kaiseki meal using seasonal Japanese ingredients. Matsumoto's delicious local cuisine and fine ingredients are the stars here, offering authenticity with enough variety for gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian menu adjustments. A genuine taste of the region primes guests for their foray into the grounds of Matsumoto Castle. Of course, plenty of treasures await within, from the weathered walls that defended the town to stunning vistas visible from its upper floors.
