Experience Location
The tiny otaku heaven of Nakano is often likened to Akihabara. The area is home to Nakano Sun Mall, a long shopping street to the north of the station. Packed inside the Nakano Broadway there are stores filled with volumes of manga series and shelves spotlighting anime figurines, a collector’s dream. In the back streets, you’ll find tiny taverns that come alive in the evening and local restaurants (some of which are themed) offering every flavor of food. Further beyond lies the quiet residential streets of Nakano with small parks and shrines dotted throughout.
