Experience Details

This is a luxury experience. We have 3 guides (a private cowboy with a horse, who speaks English, and a guide who tells you details about the volcano).

We book the private lava chef, have chips & salsa on a brilliant colored picnic and your sunset dinner is served with wine-We also have a tasting of gourmet chocolates of Guatemala to accompany the S'mores you roast on lava- ALL at the base of an active volcano overlooking 3 other volcanos.

Sample 3 local handmade chocolates, gourmet flavored marshmallows-roast your marshmallows in the lava to make a gourmet smore dining in the lava beds

What You’ll Experience

Experience luxury on Pacaya Volcano at our exclusive lava ranch, choosing from an exhilarating gallop or leisurely stroll. Ride directly on the volcano with cowboy guides focused on your safety and comfort as you traverse lush coffee plantations, charming villages, and lava beds—without other tourists around. Savor a feast from our lava chef on colorful cushions, featuring traditional dishes like chips, salsa, and gourmet chocolate roasted in the lava. Your participation supports Soul Shine Horse Rescue, with profits benefiting the care of our 125 horses. Itinerary: - Pickup from Antigua (1 hour) - Ride to the active volcano (45 mins to 1 hour) - Explore the volcano and enjoy a meal (2.5 hours) - Return ride to the park (45 minutes) - Return transportation to Antigua (1 hour) This tour includes an English-speaking guide, volcano guide, private cowboy guide for each person-who are also your waiters, transportation, and all park fees.
