Have fun putting your cooking skills to the test and amaze your friends and family once home with an Italian meal! This experience is suitable for families with children of all ages. Le Cesarine is Italy’s oldest network of home cooks all over the country in more than 120 cities. They are passionate and welcoming hosts that open the doors of their own homes to curious travellers for immersive culinary experiences.

Our Cesarine (the name of our hosts) will welcome you like part of the family and will teach you their family cooking secrets for an authentic culinary experience.

Fun!

We highly recommend this cooking experience! Our hostess was absolutely wonderful. She walked us through how to make tiramisu and pasta. We enjoyed the wine that was offered and the conversation was excellent. We learned a lot about Italian cooking.

Pasta making class

Silvia was wonderfully patient and so very kind. She gave us many tips about how to create an Italian dish. Silvia welcomed us into her beautiful home and treated us like royalty. I would definitely schedule another cooking class with her and I highly recommend this on your next visit to Lucca.

True Italian Cooking Lesson

Sylvia, our host and teaching chef, was fantastic. Taught us how to make gnocchi, gnudi (ravioli without pasta)and tiramisu. Everything was delicious and I just hope we can recreate it when we get home. Sylvia is warm and welcoming and I would highly recommend her when you visit Lucca.

Must do as a family

We didn’t make Tiramisu but we had the opportunity to learn about olive oil made in Italy and so tasting. We enjoyed some with lovely appetizers. We had some great wines and made pasta with two kinds of sauces. Our hosts were fantastic made us feel at home we enjoyed our experience celebrating very much as a family and meeting them.
