Luang Prabang

Our morning feasting tour of 15+ tastings invites guests on a culinary experience around the historical city of Luang Prabang. It's a carefully curated food adventure, led by a team of professional Laos food guides. Before we get started, your tour reflects the local cuisine and the limitations of street food vendors means we unfortunately cannot cater for every dietary restriction. Here's an honest appraisal for the tour so no-one is disappointed: ✘ Unsuitable for vegetarian diets sorry, as there would be 3-4 less tastings. ✔ Pork is used in 2-3 tastings with limited alternatives available, though the guest won't go hungry if this is your only restriction. ✖️ Unsuitable for severe allergies & halal, due to risk of traces & cross-contamination. ✔ Suitable for mild gluten and lactose intolerances, but we advise against ✖️ celiac disease, as there are traces of gluten in 4-5 tastings, including unavoidable soy sauce. If you are feeling adventurous for a foodie journey, read on!

The morning markets buzz with early risers, steam billows from bubbling pots, and the scent of grilled meats, herbs, and fresh noodles fills the air. The best bites in town

I took this tour with Nan as my guide and it was absolutely one of the major highlights of my trip. The stops were all unique and offered a great variety of foods that represent Laos cuisine and the history of food in Luang Prabang. Ranging from Breakfast to Lunch dishes and sweet to savoury snacks, this tour was a great range of sit down and market finds that I am already eager to return to the very next day! Nan was incredibly personable and tailored things to my interest/preferences along the...read more

Amazing Experience

Great tour! Not only was the food amazing (would not have found it on my own), but Mone was also a 10/10 guide. He is extremely friendly and welcoming, and also extremely knowledgeable. I was able to learn a great deal about Laos culture and really enjoyed my conversations with him. 100% recommend!

Best Luang Prabang food tour with Mone

Booked this in air-bnb and what a treat. Did the 830-noon tour and had excellent dishes, culture lessons, history review and banter to make it unforgettable and five star. Mone is a sociable guide who knows how to deliver top notch, delicious Lao food and so much more for the hours we spent with him. Put it this way, we enjoyed him so much we’ve invited him to join us tonight on the river cruise along with his driver singing buddy Mr Song (not just a name; they serenaded us with car karaoke 😆...read more
