Delicious culinary journey in Senggigi
Three of us really enjoyed the “Rasaraya” experience at Qusia restaurant in Senggigi, Lombok. The meal is a guided journey across the archipelago: 5 islands/regions with 3 small plates from each one, so fifteen yummy dishes in all, served by your own waiter who wears the costumes of each region and tells the story behind the food. Amazing experience !
We had such a beautiful experience at Rasa Raya. It was a unique opportunity to discover Indonesian cuisine from five different regions, all in one place.
Each course was thoughtfully presented and perfectly explained, with storytelling that made the experience even more immersive. The traditional costumes and decorations added a special touch, making us feel truly connected to the culture.
The staff was absolutely lovely, attentive, and passionate throughout the entire experience.

Culture and delicious food
Enjoyed the Rasa Raya this afternoon. We went to the table at 14.00. We visited 5 islands and each time the table was set in the style of the island, our personal waiter also changed costumes. We got some background information about the culture of the islands and the ingredients of our snacks. Appropriate , very tasty drinks were poured (personally we felt that beer or wine could dominate the subtle flavors).
