Much like other foods and drinks, Japanese sake transforms with the arrival of spring. Once the cherry blossoms bloom, fruity and aromatic varieties take center stage, often served chilled for those warm, sunny days and enjoyed in the company of friends under the pink trees. While in Tokyo, why not partake in a hanami picnic, Japan's cherished celebration of spring?
Eriko, your host, is a sake enthusiast who has traveled extensively, even outside Japan, searching for the perfect brew. Using her knowledge and passion for Japan’s national drink, she has crafted the ultimate spring experience: a curated sake tasting in a futuristic bar in Shibuya followed by a classic hanami party where you can enjoy a picnic together at a nearby park. Savor the exquisite flavors of sake paired with seasonal snacks and bask in the picturesque sight of Shibuya's spring scenery.
