Join us on a unique combination of a nature hike and wine tasting tour in the beautiful Banhoek Valley, Stellenbosch. There’s no better way to get up close to the mountain-topped views in this spectacular valley.The Banhoek Conservancy was formed to protect the environment, to uplift the community and to re-establish a balance between human activities and nature. After completing your hike of 9kms we are visiting a boutique vineyard in the valley with breath-taking views for a wine tasting to conclude our half day out in nature. Transport back to the starting point will be provided.

Join us for a guided half day hike for 9km in the Banhoek Valley in the beautiful Stellenbosch region and end the day off with a lovely wine tasting. Experience mountain views and explore the Banhoek Conservancy. We will transfer you back to the starting point after your wine tasting.

Outstanding walk and wine tasting

Wonderful walking tour exploring the valley and seeing some amazing scenic views and even some gazelles. Our tour guide was kind, knowledgeable, had great conversation, and made sure we were well looked after with water and snacks. Was mostly flat, but areas were somewhat exposed and some hills to hike along the way, so a little bit of a challenge. But my 73-year-old mum did it and so can you!
