Start Location: Taste of Bardstown Market 212 N. 3rd St. Bardstown, KY 40004 Parking: There is a free municipal city parking lot at 112 W. Flaget St., Bardstown, KY 40004, across from Scout & Scholar Brewery. There is also free street parking on 3rd Street. The Taste of Bardstown Tour is about one mile long and lasts about three hours. Must be 21+ to participate.

The only brewery in the city of Bardstown. Named in honor, after William and David Bard. The land known as Bardstown today was granted to David Bard by the governor of Virginia. Originally named Salem, Settlement began in the 1770s. In 1780 William Bard, David's brother, laid out Bardstown on the site. It became the county seat when Nelson county, Virginia was formed in 1784. First time in Kentucky, arrived with FOMO in not booking a distillery tour. Book with Viator and pray you get Monica as a guide. We learned about Bourbon and had excellent four course nibbles at multiple locations!!

Monica and all of the people we encountered were fabulous! Everything from the history, the cocktails, the food and finally the tasting at the Tasting Room were more than we could have asked for. Everyone is so friendly and make you feel like friends.

Fantastic Walking Tour and Tasting in Bardstown Kentucky!

What a fantastic time we had! Monica was our tour guide and made us feel special from the moment she walked in the door! We have been to Bardstown many times in the past but the tour took us to some new places to try. We were able to sample some great pours and drinks along the way. Monica was a wealth of knowledge about the history of Bardstown and the area and we left feeling like friends. My husband and I would highly recommend this tour!
