Delicious, authentic and informative

A brilliant way to get off the beaten track - no other tourist in sight. You really get a sense of where many South Africans go to shop and eat. Though this is a great understanding of certain cultures, in particular culinary. Delicious fresh and varied food and coffees. Insights into isiXhosa traditions and beliefs. Plus Muslim practices. No guide book, online research concierge service etc would tell you where to go here. Only Unexplored Cape Town has the expertise, knowledge and street se...read more

Absolutely eye-opening and tasty.

Very insightful and eye-opening even as a local. Excellent guides who connect on a personal level, with familiarity and empathy. The food is the highlight with diverse dishes shared over conversations and important dialogue.

Enlightening and Yummy experience!

As a local Capetonian, experiencing the Little Mogadishu tour was a great eye opener. I have a deep appreciation for the African cultures in our city but never had the opportunity to fully experience it until now. The food was amazing! The restaurants & stores were so hospitable and Dennis was a lovely host! If you're wanting something a bit different to the usual tourist attractions or you're a local wanting to learn more about the city, I would definitely recommend joining this food tour!
