Transfer from the hotel (Tropea and the surrounding area) to the vineyard is available only on request with supplement.

The tasting takes place at a winery whose vineyards are located in a privileged position, a short distance from the sea; they thus enjoy the sun and sea breeze, on fine sediments (silty-clayey) of marine origin. The experience includes the tasting of 6 wines – 3 reds, 2 whites, and 1 rosé – with a detailed explanation of organic wine production. The visit takes place within the vineyards, where the characteristics of the territory and the grapes grown will be illustrated, with the opportunity to take a walk among the rows. A delicious experience to discover authentic Calabrian products, immersed in a beautiful vineyard on the hills overlooking Tropea. The tasting takes place in the heart of an olive grove, where you can sample typical Calabrian products such as cheeses, bruschetta, fritters, and much more. All accompanied by a breathtaking view!

Trip from Tropea

Get there on time Check transport to the location beforehand as taxis from Tropea are expensive. View to Stromboli and sunset is a spectacular bonus

Amazing Wine and Food Tour with Stunning Views!

I totally recommend this tour! The winery is perched high up in the hills which have incredible views and sunset!. The owners explain their winery operation and each of the tasting wines we sampled (2 whites, 1 rose, 3 reds). There was plentiful appetizers to sample and eat, olives, assorted cold cuts, cheeses, local omelettes, and pasta. You can also purchase the wine if you wanted, but no pressure(we did as it was very good) It was a beautiful evening, and I would definitely 100% do this again...read more

Great Experience

The wine and food were great. The view was even better. Would 100% do this again. Everything was perfect. No pressure to buy anything at the end, but we did because the wine was great.

Stunning setting

Excellent experience. Good value for money. The setting was beautiful. Wine and food in abundance. Only negative, was that we were informed just an hour before that the time of the wine tasting had been brought forward an hour. Luckily we were able to do this at this time. More notice would have been appreciated. We also made our own way to the vineyard. Travel instructions were pretty poor, even our taxi driver couldn't find the place. Mascei Wine & Food Tour

The wine was very good and had generous pours. You could go back for more as desired. The food was very authentic and included many items that we hadn't encountered in restaurants. There was plenty of food for everyone on the tour. The owner spoke limited English, but he used an app that translated his words and played them back in English.
