The long viticultural history and diverse geographical features offer the perfect conditions for the creation of many tasty wines. Noticed by high-end gastronomy circles, Slovenian wines are becoming popular among visitors to Slovenia, who are pleasantly surprised and pleased by their discovery.
In order to really delve into Slovenian wine culture, it is best to spend some time in the wine country, seeing its beauty and meeting its people. This day trip will take you to the Slovenian wine region called Vipava Valley. We will go on an easy walk through local vineyards, learning more about the terroir - the climate and the soil - and seeing how grapes grow.
