Emi was a very welcoming host, we came as a family of 6 and everyone enjoyed their time! Definitely a unique experience I would recommend others to try! And also, the meal was delicious :)

I highly recommend this class. It was extremely fun and cozy. The experience was relaxing and delicious. Emi is very kind and friendly. She is very good at accommodating to your tastes and all her instructions are very helpful. It really felt like you are visiting a nice aunt and cooking a nice home cook meal with her.

Really enjoyed Emi's class. My 12 year old daughter and I made udon, tempura, and gyoza. The instructions were easy to follow and Emi's communication was clear and friendly. We will be back again next time we are in Tokyo!

We really enjoyed our class!

We took part in a private curry-making workshop in Tokyo yesterday. Emi, a Japanese instructor who speaks good English, taught us how to prepare rice, Japanese curry, and tonkatsu. The class was a lot of fun, very hands-on, and easy to follow. At the end of the session, Emi even walked with us to a supermarket and helped us choose which curry roux to buy to recreate the dish at home.

We had a wonderful time with Emi and learnt a lot! She was very friendly and patient and spoke English well. Would highly recommend doing a cooking class with her :)

Exceptional experience!! The thoughtfulness and care that goes into making this feel special is incredible. There was a translator there but even if there wasn’t I still think it would have been just as amazing. Come hungry!

We had an amazing time! The chef was magical to watch and the translator really attentive. Other chefs popped in occasionally as the working kitchen was next door. All so interesting, kind, light hearted and generous. Making sushi isn’t as easy as it looks! Nor was finding the place, make sure that you get explicit instructions, and photos of the entrance if possible. Highly recommended, we learnt so much and had a fantastic lunch.
