“Retort” is a type of packaged food that is heated up by boiling the package in hot water or by microwave. This “retort” sushi rice makes it easy to prepare tasty rice for hand-rolled sushi. This rice is grown with organic fertilizers in Miyagi Prefecture and is pesticide free. 

Simply boil the packet in hot water for 4 minutes, or microwave for 2 minutes. Then the rice is ready for making hand-rolled sushi.

LAC GOHAN uses bio-organic fertilizers to increase the amount of amino acids in their rice. They aim to make the “best of the best” rice in Miyagi Prefecture. They’ve developed “retort” rice to make it easy for customers to make authentic sushi rice at home.
