This bakery will convince you that German-style whole wheat bread tops every other bread there is.

Restaurant Details

The definition of “real” bread can differ depending on the person. Soft, fluffy Japanese bread has a ton of fans in the country and can be bought almost anywhere. However BÄCKEREI BIOBROT is the only bakery around that offers substantial, whole grain German-style bread. The density and nutty flavor of the bread might take a bit of getting used to for some, but its rich, full-flavored quality is worth acquiring the taste. Thin slicing for the loaves is recommended — a half loaf is able to last up to four days for a single person, and that's twice longer than normal loaves. On top of the bestselling wholegrain loaves, Backerei Biobrot has a great selection of other wholegrain goods including croissants, baguettes, raisin bread, cinnamon rolls, and buns. A selection of jams and drinks are available for takeaway as well. Even without a dining-in option, there's always a crowd eager to get their hands on BÄCKEREI BIOBROT bread. Goods sell out extremely fast, so come early to snag a whole wheat loaf or two!
