The saying “less is more” is the key behind the extraordinary taste of the incredible Shanghai dishes at Chef’s. They make use of a relaxing atmosphere, their establishment lightly decorated to reflect the focused gentleness of the dishes. The cooking techniques and recipes used by the current, 7th generation chef have been inherited from decades past, filled with authentic flavors of days gone by. With simplicity in mind, the founding chef, Keijin Wang, who was born and raised in the culturally-rich Shanghai, combined his excellent culinary skills with high-quality seasonings and ingredients to create a unique set of dishes. Using olive oil, sake, wine, and spices that are a secret to the rest of us, Wang focuses on bringing out the gentle flavors of Shanghainese cuisine.
