Halal Wagyu Yakiniku Panga expands to Asakusa, offering halal-certified Japanese black wagyu with a thoughtful approach to butchering and grilling.

Restaurant Details

Driven by a desire to share the deliciousness of Japanese wagyu with a broader audience, Halal Wagyu Yakiniku Panga’s owner pursued halal certification, and even went as far as to consult with the imam of Tokyo’s As-Salaam Mosque to source premium wagyu cattle from Iwate Prefecture.

Following the success and high demand of its flagship store in Ueno, Halal Wagyu Yakiniku Panga has opened its second branch in Asakusa, nestled near Nakamise Street’s vibrant street food scene, just steps from the historic Senso-ji Temple.

The restaurant specializes in Japanese Black beef, one of the most famous breeds of wagyu. To ensure the meat is strictly halal, it purchases entire cows and prepares each cut in-house. Diners can choose from three courses, with its special lineup including a decadent yakisuki topped with truffle mousse. For those seeking an indulgent treat, the "Panga Premium Course" includes the luxurious Chateaubriand steak.

To cater to international guests, the restaurant employs a multilingual staff and offers an English menu, ensuring a seamless dining experience for travelers. With stunning views of Asakusa's nightscape and intimate, modern Japanese setting — complete with pair seating — the venue is providing Muslim diners with an exquisite wagyu feast with ease of mind.
