Restaurant Details
Step through the front door of this Akasaka restaurant, led by your personal black-clad ninja guide, and walk through the winding hallways on the way to a hidden ninja village of stealth and magic.
This themed restaurant has some really high production values, with the main space built to replicate the ninja villages that the clandestine clans of old set up to train their agents. Since 2001, they’re been one of the most entertaining places to spend an evening eating and drinking in Tokyo. Waiters dressed as ninja will serve your food, and ninja magicians can even come to perform tricks!
You’ll come for the atmosphere and them, but the food is equally as exciting. They have an extensive menu featuring both Japanese foods and foreign favorites. The culture vultures can try some authentic Japanese dishes, while fussy eaters can stick to Western classics. This is no ordinary Japanese restaurant food, however. Many of the menu items follow the ninja theme, with dishes such as jet-black karaage fried chicken.
Perfect for families, big groups, or fans of Japan’s historic shuriken-throwing secret agents, Ninja Akasaka is one of the best restaurants in Tokyo for a fun-filled evening out.
