Restaurant Details

Containing both Kawasaki and Yokohama, Kanagawa is one of Japan’s most populous prefectures. In Japan, where there are people, there is ramen, so Kanagawa naturally has no shortage of the ever-popular noodle shops. Chief among them on some of the most respected online ranking sites is Sakurai Chuka Soba-ten, near Hodogaya Station. From opening time onwards, there’s likely to be a queue of people waiting for a taste of their handmade Chinese-style noodles. The most popular dish is the spicy Chinese ramen with a shoyu base, however they recently added a pork ramen option which uses incredibly tender chargrilled pork shoulder. Both are equally worth a try.
