Chisei & Rina have built a great introduction to tea and matcha, and we are very happy with our experience! If you ever wanted to better understand the various kinds of Japanese tea, what to look for when buying matcha, how to prepare it and use it in recipes, this is the perfect place to go!!! Especially, the possibility of tasting before buying was just perfect, as it's hard to know what you're buying otherwise.
I was looking for a tasting with explanations, and I really appreciated them! I had a great time! Thank you!
they explain the process of how matcha is made in detail, and have many kinds for you to taste. they teach you how to make matcha and also matcha latte. they also provide some cookies which were very yummy. we enjoyed this a lot and also bought a lot of good matcha from them to bring home!
My mom and I learned so much!! Such a fun experience, we recommend it to all matcha enthusiasts! Now we know what flavors suit each of us and where to purchase them. Thank you so much Chusei for the wonderful tasting experience.
Danica Xiong-san Thank you for coming today. The evaluation of which tea is delicious is a standard that only a few experts have arbitrarily decided. I always think that people should be more free to find the tea that they like. And I was very happy that you all were able to find your favorite matcha. We are also open as a cafe on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so please feel free to stop by next time you come to Japan. Chisei
