Each spring, Tokyo is transformed by the fleeting beauty of sakura cherry blossoms. During the Cherry Blossom Festival Evening Viewing in Nakameguro, you can take your time to enjoy the blossoms and experience hanami culture like a local, while sampling delicious festival foods along the way.


As evening falls, pink lanterns line the canals of the Meguro River, casting a soft glow on the pale pink sakura trees. Stroll along the riverbanks, take photos, and explore the surrounding shops and cafes. Nakameguro is a trendy neighborhood known for its high-fashion boutiques, cool cafes, and charming local stores.

Situated along Meguro River, a well-known cherry blossom viewing spot, Nakameguro is a laid back, artsy area unlike anywhere else in Tokyo. During the day, one can hunker down at a café with some of the best coffee in Tokyo. There are also many pubs in the district, filling Nakameguro’s nightlife with laughter and rounds of drinks and grilled skewers.
