Learning and Laughing
Our time with Chef Antonio was our best memory from a fantastic week in Sicily! Shopping with him in the Palermo market would have been worth the price alone, a robust and colorful tour of local specialties, gathering a brimming sack of ingredients for the meal we'd make together. Prepping and cooking in his open-air kitchen was equal parts learning and laughing. Antonio is a big-hearted host with a gift for cooking and storytelling --- you'll leave with a full belly and a new friend!

A fantastic experience in Palermo
Market trip and cooking class with chef Antonio was a fantastic experience. We met at the Ballaro Market and learned about buying in-season ingredients and enjoyed a glass of wine. After the market visit, we left chef Antonio and walked around old town Palermo followed by a trip to Monreale. Chef Antonio’s daughter then picked us up in Monreale and we went to his house up in the hills.

My wife & I had the good fortune to do BOTH a cooking class & a tour of the Ballaró market with Antonio & his lovely wife, Lorie. We met them when they did a cooking class & prepared an amazing meal for us in the United States. Then we did a tour of Ballaró market & Palermo with them in Sicily.
