Start by touring one of the biggest markets in the city, the Lucas de Galvez Market, where you will not only see fruits and vegetables of the region, if you will not also try an emblematic food of the region, which is the Cochinita pibil, then you will try natural juices made with fruits of the state.
Then we will go to García Rejón Craft Bazaar, which is the first market in Merida, you know its history and taste typical foods of the region such as panuchos, salbutes, papadzules or polcans.
All these places are where the locals go to eat.
