When in Mérida, a must do.

I had an amazing tour with Nestor! His deep knowledge of the region and its cuisine really shone through. Since I was the only person on the tour that day, I was able to fully benefit from his lifetime of Yucateco expertise.

Good food, good culture

Nestor Duran was a really knowledgable and nice guide, he showed us great food places where my girlfriend had the best tacos of her life and we learned about the local food and traditions! Overall a very nice experience.

Wonderful introduction to Yucatan cuisine!

We had a wonderful tour with our 5 year old foodie! She loved all of the tastings and especially the people we met along the way. The Mayan lady selling fruit was a highlight, as was the Crema Marisca, the spice aisles and the black chile sauces. Wonderful way to get a feel for the city and a beautiful introduction to Yucatan flavors!

Fantastic introduction to real Yucatecan food

Fantastic tour. We really loved getting a tour around the market and having food at the non-tourist places. Our guide and his trainee were knowledgeable and friendly and I only wish we had had time to do the evening tour as well!
