The class starts off with a brief lecture on how mochi paste is made from mochi rice. Then, you'll learn how to prepare the cut fruit and bean paste that will become a filling for your daifuku. Wrapping it all up in sticky and stretchy mochi is the most challenging part but also the most fun! Dive into the tradition of making beautiful Japanese sweets by hand. Then, enjoy taking photos and tasting your creations with a cup of matcha green tea.
