Experience Details
Explore Fukuoka’s attractions in comfort with a private car tour! Visiting several Fukuoka landmarks in one day may be challenging. But your host, Yoshi, proves it's both possible and enjoyable. Using his deep understanding of Fukuoka, he has curated this private tour where he takes the wheel so you can make the most of your time in Fukuoka and explore its main attractions from the comfort of the passenger seat.
After Yoshi picks you up from the designated meeting point, your journey begins at Nanzoin Temple, a traditional place of worship where you can see Japan's largest sleeping Buddha. To show respect towards local customs, visitors are requested to adhere to the temple's dress code: camisoles, mini shorts and skirts (above the knee), or crop tops are not allowed, and visitors with tattoos are requested to cover them during their visit.
After that, you'll visit Fukuoka's largest temple, Dazaifu Tenmangu, where you will enjoy a few street foods, including umegae mochi, a Fukuoka specialty.
After eating, you have the option of relaxing in the calming waters of a hot spring facility (onsen) with a stunning view of Fukuoka (tattoos are not allowed at the onsen, so this option is only available for guests without tattoos — see Options below.)
Post-onsen, you'll explore the serene shores of Momochihama Beach, continuing to the skyscraping Fukuoka Tower, where you can bask in breathtaking city views. You'll enjoy an authentic hearty dinner at a local eatery to wrap up the tour.
Yoshi, your guide, is a seasoned bilingual concierge who served in luxurious hotels across Japan. His passion for hospitality and profound understanding of Fukuoka make him the perfect companion for your tour. With Yoshi, you will explore some of Fukuoka's greatest cultural treasures and enjoy its delicious local cuisine, all under the expert guidance of a knowledgeable and experienced local.
