Harajuku is the center for all things kawaii (cute) in Tokyo, with an infectious energy that’s fueled by aggressively neon colors, the cutest characters, the latest fashion trends, and of course, delicious food! Fashion and youth cultures collide in the busy Takeshita Street while daring and edgy street fashion bubbles away in Cat Street.

Not far from Shibuya, Harajuku backs onto the magnificent Meiji Shrine, with space to relax under the trees at Yoyogi Park just next door. Explore the best of Harajuku during this Harajuku Sweet and Savory Food Tour, it’s a sensory overload of color and youth culture that will surely please your tastebuds!

Ride the rainbow in this outrageously fun food tour in the quirky streets of Harajuku. During this food tour, with the help of your local guide, you’ll eat some outstanding ramen in Harajuku and learn about the secrets that make it so popular and unforgettably delicious.

You’ll also enjoy tempura, deep-fried seafood and vegetables that are perfectly golden and crunchy, with a side of soup! Wandering through the wonderfully kawaii streets, you’ll also taste takoyaki (octopus balls), a tasty festival food that originated from the street food culture of Osaka. For the courageous, you’ll find that these bite-sized balls are delicious all year round in Harajuku!

For dessert, Harajuku will never disappoint, where the area is home to every type of sweet shop, both classic styles, and ones that are ground-breakingly bizarre. You’ll experience for yourself some super kawaii sweets and desserts in Harajuku to round out the tour, eating some iconic crepes and delicious castella cake.
