Join us on this classy wine adventure as we discover the secrets of Campania, one of Italy's most fascinating wine regions. Immerse yourself in the terroir and traditions of southern Italy and develop a deeper appreciation for the unique flavors and aromas of Campania wines. Health!

Hour 1: Discovering the Campania Terroir In the first hour of our wine class, we will delve into Campania's terroir and understand how its geography, climate and soils influence the wines produced in the region. Campania is home to a variety of winemaking areas, including the famous volcanic soils of Vesuvius, the fertile plains of Caserta, and the rugged hills of Avellino and Benevento. We will explore the characteristics of each subregion and how they contribute to the unique flavors and aromas of Campania wines. We will also discuss the native grape varieties that thrive in Campania, such as Aglianico, Fiano, Greco di Tufo and Falanghina. We will learn their historical significance, their unique profiles and the winemaking techniques used to bring out their best qualities. Tasting notes and sensory analysis will be an integral part of this hour, as we taste a selection of Campania wines that highlight the region's diverse terroir.

Enjoyable wine tasting with a wonderful host!

Had a wonderful wine tasting of all-local Campania wines with wonderful cheese, meats, breads and olive oil. Learned all about the different wine regions within Campania and had time to sit and enjoy it all. Lovely shop, wonderful wines, and knowledgeable, professional host!

Lovely evening tasting wines,meats and cheeses from this region. Dario was very informative and welcoming. All in all a great experience and have now found some exceptional wines. Highly recommend.

Wonderful afternoon wine tasting in Sorrento

Fantastic wine tasting experience with tasty charcuterie board to complement the choice of wines. Everyone was very friendly and the Sommelier was excellent, very knowledgeable! Would definitely recommend, great experience for anyone visiting Sorrento.

Beautiful venue, wonderful tasting experience.

My goal was to try some regional wines during my first visit to southern Italy and this was a wonderful tasting. My day was modified and I ended up having a private tasting with Dario that was so informative but also a lot of fun. The venue was gorgeous and the food was amazing with three cheeses, two meats and some bread. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a tasting!
