In this cooking class, you will learn how to make oyako-don - chicken and egg bowl, a well-loved Japanese dish that can be made with noodles or rice.
You will learn how to make this dish from scratch, starting with how to make the udon noodles! Udon noodles are fun and easy to make, and you’ll get step-by-step instructions on how to properly kneed, cut, and boil the noodles.
You will also learn about the different seasonings and ingredients used to make oyako-don including how to make dashi (broth). In addition, you will also learn how to make a side dish to go with the oyako-don.
At the end of the class, you’ll have the option to participate in a sake-tasting or matcha-making experience for an additional cost. You can select either of these options when booking the experience.
