Good to Know
You will meet the host at the Metropolitano Station of Angamos in Miraflores and use the public transportation to get to La Victoria, a populous district . There you will visit a typical market, cook with a couple of young limeños two traditional dishes: causa and ceviche, and share with them an unforgettable lunch in their apartment. Their apartment is in the 30th floor of a high rise building so you will have a chance to see an amazing overview of Lima, the Peruvian capital.

As appetiser we will have canchita and chifles. To drink a traditional chicha morada and as main dishes Fish Ceviche and Tuna Causa.

Transportation to meeting point and Tips
We will meet at the Metropolitano Estación Angamos, located in the district of Miraflores at 11am. You don't need a bus card, the one way ticket is included. Using the Lima public transportation service is an experience in itself. We will get off at Canada Station, in the district of La Victoria and walk a few blocks to the Balconcillo market, where we will buy fresh supplies for lunch. If you wish you can buy fruits that you have not tried before (bring a few soles). We will walk to Ricardo's apartment, located near the market, where you will have a breathtaking view of Lima. There, Helke will be waiting with a refreshing pitcher of chicha morada.. Afterwards, we will prepare 2 typical Peruvian dishes: Ceviche with canchita and chifles, and a traditional Peruvian causa limeña. On the way back, we will accompany you to take a cab to your lodging or next destination.
