Visit an old family oil mill in the heart of Salento and taste its biological olive oil.
Since 1700 this family owned mill has produced a top quality extra virgin olive oil winning many awards. The 9th generation still produces olive oil with love from the same centuries - old trees.
Marta, the agronomist of the family has followed the passion of her ancestor. She will guide you through her biological farm: you’ll visit the oil mill and the production areas, she ‘ll teach you the quality and the differences between olive oil and you’ll participate in a professional olive oil tasting, learning how to recognize the different type of oil and how to pair them with food.
Finally you’ ll enjoy the culinary experience she has prepared for you: typical local delicacies and cheese paired with the oil.

Olive Mill Visit--very enjoyable three hours
Fabulous visit to the Olive mill. Really enjoyed the story of the site and the family who run it. Very passionate and detailed talk with great pictures and stories. Lunch was lovely and the people were very keen to ensure that we had a good day.

Great learning and testing experience!
Great experience with a professional in the field. She explained very well the whole process to make oil with some family history, important fact about olive trees and finally how to test oil ourselves. The whole experience was concluded with a nice testing of oil and snacks of the region which was enough to have a fulfilling lunch. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming.

A Must DO!
This was such a fabulous experience! Marta was a wonderfully gracious and knowledgeable host. Highly recommend to everyone. Its a little bit out of the way but well worth the drive and Marta made some great recommendations for a drive and beach for afterwards
