This is a fun local word in Osaka that means, “eat until you drop!” The food culture of Kuidaore is so prominent in Osaka, with endless possibilities of street food, izakaya dining, and all-you-can-eat restaurants (known as tabehoudai). Prepare yourself to take on the challenge, this food tour in Osaka Namba will show you some of the best food in the city! During this Osaka Namba and Dotonbori Food Tour, you’ll firstly head over to Kuromon Market. It’s a long-serving market in Osaka where local residents and chefs still buy high-quality produce and local ingredients, as well as fresh seafood. You’ll also visit the Sennichimae Doguyasuji Shotengai, a long shopping street that’s famous for selling high-quality professional knives and cooking equipment. Continuing on a foodie rampage, you’ll explore the busy Dotonbori area in the center of Osaka Namba, overflowing with people, bursting neon lights, and of course, street food galore! This Osaka Namba and Dotonbori Food Tour will introduce you to the unique food on offer in Osaka, enjoying the best of each area as you go. The meeting point is in at the Nippombashi Station, Basement Exit 10, via the Osaka Municipal Subway Sakaisuji Line.

This tour strictly starts on time. Please be respectful of the other guests. If guests do not arrive at the meeting point by the departure time, the tour will begin regardless.

Experience Location

The bustling heart of Osaka's Minami "South" area, in and around Namba Station represents one of the city's neon-lit centers. The entertainment and shopping districts of Namba oppose the Kita area, found clustered around Osaka Station and Umeda Station further north. Bars, restaurants, and street food stalls on the colorful Dotombori entertain party goers and foodies late into the night, with the red light district a few streets beyond.
