Experience Details

Explore Osaka like a local, through the eyes of your Japanese-Australian tour guide, Andy or a friend.

Our authentic local food tour was featured in a special 30-minute episode on NHK World in 2024 and is now getting the spotlight on the upcoming Netflix foodie series ‘Someone Feed Phil.’

Visiting Japan as a foreigner can feel intimidating, especially when stepping into tiny bars and hidden restaurants without English menus or bilingual staff. With us, you’ll have a built-in interpreter and cultural guide to ease those moments and lead you straight to authentic local gems tucked away beyond the usual chain restaurants.

This unforgettable Osaka food tour takes you to 5 unique stops with 15 mouthwatering dishes. Your guide will introduce you to iconic drinks including local beer, sake, chuhai, highballs, plum wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options like soda and juice.

While strolling around the area, you'll get the opportunity to learn about all of the ingredients, dishes, and drinks you'll encounter. On top of that, you are bound to gain an overview of the deep history of the area and how it ties into the local cuisine.
