Live an experience in the Food Valley with a tour dedicated to the excellence of Parma, among the cradle of Made in Italy campaigns. You can choose between leaving Bologna by first class train with private driver from the AV station, or prefer the smart formula departing directly from Parma.

The first stop is at a Parmigiano Reggiano cheese factory: between golden shapes and intense aromas, you will discover the secrets of an ancient craftsmanship and participate in a guided tasting of different maturations of the king of cheeses.

Continue with a visit to a historic ham factory, nestled in the hills where the famous Parma Ham DOP is born. Here you will learn the secrets of salting and seasoning, concluding with a rich taste of the fine cured meat.

Afterwards, you will return to the station for the return journey to Bologna or be taken back to the departure point in Parma. A comfortable and authentic food tour, perfect to discover Parma through its truest flavors.

The first stop on our tour is at a dairy that produces Parmigiano Reggiano, the most famous aged cheese in the world. During this experience, customers will have the opportunity to see all stages of production. They will see how the large wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano are made, how they are handled by the skilled hands of the cheesemakers and, finally, how they are arranged for ageing. Of course, the most eagerly awaited moment is the tasting. Guests will be able to taste at least two different ages of Parmigiano Reggiano accompanied by breadsticks and a glass of fine wine. There is also the opportunity to purchase Parmigiano Reggiano at the shop.

For lovers of prosciutto, this stop will be truly mouth-watering. At the Ziveri Prosciuttificio, customers will see the wonderful process of salting and curing the true and unique Parma prosciutto.
