WHEN you have a chocolate factory barely a quarter of a mile away from where you are staying in Siem Reap then a visit is inevitable. It is just off Angkor Night Market Street and a large "Chocolate Factory" sign alerts visitors that they have arrived. A $2 tuktuk ride will get you there from pretty much anywhere in Siem Reap. It costs $5 per person for the tour, but it is worth it! We had a one on one tour with a lady who worked there, you go inside the small factory and see each step of the process. The lady explained the whole process while you went through and, allowed you to taste the chocolate at all the different stages, as well as taste many of the finished products.
