A gourmet visit not to be missed 🍫

A little nugget for chocolate lovers. The visit is simple, authentic and above all delicious: we discover how chocolate is made, from the bean to the bar. The best part? The tasting, obviously... difficult to leave without some sweets. The welcome is warm and you can feel the passion behind each chocolate. A perfect break for the curious, gourmets and anyone who thinks that chocolate always deserves a little attention.

Deliciously interesting!

WHEN you have a chocolate factory barely a quarter of a mile away from where you are staying in Siem Reap then a visit is inevitable. It is just off Angkor Night Market Street and a large "Chocolate Factory" sign alerts visitors that they have arrived. A $2 tuktuk ride will get you there from pretty much anywhere in Siem Reap. This attraction is in its infancy but it's rough and ready approach to tourism only adds to its charm. For a start, when you arrive it is not immediately apparent where yo...read more

Response from ViatorFebruary 03, 2026

Thank you very much for your wonderful review and for taking the time to share your experience with us 🍫 We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed visiting our chocolate factory, learning about the bean-to-bar process, and tasting our handcrafted Cambodian chocolate. Your feedback truly reflects the spirit of our work: artisanal production, made by hand, with care, passion, and a strong focus on quality over quantity. We’re also very happy you enjoyed the different flavors and took some favorites home with you. Thank you for supporting a young and growing project. We look forward to welcoming you again very soon in Siem Reap! Warm regards, The WAT Chocolate Team

Lovely guided tour with tastings.

It costs $5 per person for the tour, but it is worth it! We had a one on one tour with a lady who worked there, you go inside the small factory and see each step of the process. The lady explained the whole process while you went through and, allowed you to taste the chocolate at all the different stages, as well as taste many of the finished products. She answered all my questions, we also were given a bottle of water. Every step is done by hand and they use local cambodian products. At the end...read more
