Good to Know

During this experience, you'll visit a private 900-year-old wine cellar. You'll get a hands-on training from a professional local chef and cook 2 different types of handmade pasta, 2 sauces, and taste total 3 wines during the cellars tour and the light lunch You'll learn new cooking techniques that can easily be repeated at home If you don't have a car, we will be happy to arrange a van for you, not included in the price. We are about 35 minutes drive from Florence city. No public transportation available in the tours time. When you book, pls specify in the notes if you wish to have pick up arranged

We offer a private transfer service from and to Florence city centre with a starting price of 150€ for 4 people. If you wish this service we kindly ask you to request it on your reservation by giving us your address of staying in Florence.
We are open in respect of all Covid-19 laws: Our staff wears protective equipment. Fever will be measured before the tour starts.Travelers are required to wear personal protective equipment (masks) during the tour...of course not during the wine tasting. Participants are required to observe social distancing during the experience (1 mt. from each other). More frequent cleaning or sanitizing procedures in place.

A guided tour through the ancient castle cellars with tasting of 3 wines and local products will tell you about our history. In the kitchen, where our chef will be waiting for you, you will discover the traditional secrets to prepare “tagliatelle” and “tagliolini”, the typical handmade pasta with sauce pairing. The experience ends at the table enjoying the dishes prepared during the course.

Castle Del Trebbio cooking from scratch experience

It was very enjoyable! Something my wife and I had never done before! Chef Jerry was excellent! He was very patient with our group and instructed us very well! The finished meal we created as a group was excellent. The castle wines we were served were excellent! In short, a very unique wonderful experience!

Best Tuscan Experience for Us

What a fantastic combination of activities this is! Beautiful scenery, wine making instruction, professional cooking insights, wine tasting, a shared group lunch makes for a memorable experience. Bravo to Gerry our cooking instructor and Teresa our host! This tour proved to be our favorite Tuscan experience.

Best wine tasting/cooking class ever!!

Lucia was the best tour guide! Very knowledgeable, helpful and obviously experienced in the specialty of wine making and the family history of the castle. The chef, Jerry, was such a wonderful teacher who helped us make pasta, chicken and a wonderful sponge cake. We got recipes to take home. Would recommend highly to anyone!!

An incredible experience in a truly special place..

Had the most incredible experience at Castello del Trebbio. The venue is like something out of a dream and Lucia and Jerry made us feel so welcomed. Lucia shared some excellent history about the castle and the area as well as about the wine produced there. Jerry was an excellent teacher and taught us simple yet delicious dishes we can’t wait to make again once at home. Great Time

We had a lot of fun doing the pasta making a wine tasting. We were 2 families (friends - adults & 18 year old children) on Spring Break & decided to do this as an excursion. Our hostess/guide was a wonderful young lady who did our tour & served us after the class. She was very personable & friendly. Chef “Jerry” was a blast. Lots of fun with him teaching us how to make pasta. The castle & grounds are beautiful. The wines were very good. This was a terrific experience!
