+8 photosIt's like being invited to a friend's house. In warm hospitality I've been able to sit back and learn Bengali cuisine. It was a very fruitful time. I am also grateful that they taught me more about culture and history as well as cooking. I continue to travel the world and participate in cooking classes, but I am increasingly captivated by Fauci! We did the in-home meal with Debjai, not the cooking class. Everything was perfect. One of our group was a little in the fence about Bengali cuisine, which can sometimes overemphasize sweetness and fruits. (The rest of us were excited.) The highlight of my trip to Kolkata! I had the most incredible home-cooked Bengali meal at Debjani’s beautiful, centrally located home. She welcomed us like family, and the setting, filled with antiques and artwork, was absolutely charming. It was great experience to join a wonderful dinner through the tour. Cuicine was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating. The owner's hospitality is very warm so I promise you that you wil have an unforgettable dish which is rich in aroma and passion.
I highly recommend this experience if you are in Kolkata. My husband and I arrived at our host Debjani's house and she welcomed us and made us feel at ease right away, in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Her family also made us feel at home.
