Before its relocation to Toyosu in 2018, Tsukiji Fish Market was the largest wholesale fish and seafood market in the world–home to more than 400 different types of seafood, including fish, shellfish, and seaweed. While the original Tsukiji Fish Market is no longer operating, the Outer Market is still brimming with fresh seafood, sushi restaurants, seafood stalls, and beyond.
Tie up your laces and join us for a Tsukiji Outer Market adventure that’ll have you dreaming of seafood and sushi for nights on end! Your English-speaking guides know the ins and outs of Tsukiji Market and are bursting with knowledge to share with you–so, language barriers are a non-issue during this experience.
You’ll tour Tsukiji Outer Fish Market on foot, hop around various fish shops, enjoy the freshest sushi in town, visit a Japanese knife shop, and visit Namiyoke Shrine–a sacred Shinto shrine thought to offer protection and prosperity for fishers and the market.
