This virtual Japanese tea experience hosted from Tokyo will introduce you to the magical world of green tea and its significance in Japanese culture. The Japanese tea expert will teach you simple brewing techniques for the perfect cup of healthy, antioxidant-rich green tea. This online class will cover: -- The health benefits of green tea -- Tea brewing methods to guarantee delicious tea that’s never bitter -- The variety of Japanese green teas -- How to source amazing green tea from around the world -- Tea growing and harvesting seasons -- The surprisingly complementary relationship between green tea and nori (seaweed) -- Fantastic pairings with Japanese green tea, including tea cocktails! As we sip our tea, you’ll learn about secret tea spots, tea tips and tricks, and the history of tea. Our local expert will also answer any questions you have about traveling and Japan! Please bring: -- Green tea (any type is fine; tea bag, loose tea, matcha, etc.) -- Equipment you usually use to brew your tea, like a tea cup and tea pot -- Hot water -- Questions about tea and traveling/living in Japan
