Getaway to the sun-kissed vineyards of Areni in Armenian wine country, where you can have the authentic 3 course meal from the Areni Cliffs directly in the vineyard of our local hosts. You’ll learn about Armenia’s rich culinary and winemaking traditions among the vines from where the grapes used to make the wines you’ll drink come from.

What You’ll Experience

Grassy sun kissed vineyards paint the land gold on either side of you as you enter Areni, a real-life painting waiting for you in Armenia’s south. Home to the world’s oldest known winery, the 6,000-year-old Areni-1 Cave, the earth here tells Armenia’s ancient tale of winemaking. To this day, this region produces wines made from grapes that have been growing here – and only here – for thousands of years. Dine among the grapevines of our hosts’ vineyard, sipping on local wines and enjoying a 3-course meal prepared with local, seasonal ingredients.
