Yuka & Pinky are a great team. Plus Yuka went out of her way to make this class extra special. Thank you!❤️❤️❤️

Our friend group did this cooking class together on our first trip to Japan and the ladies were both so sweet and helpful. Everything we learned to make was much easier than expected and the printed instructions are so easy for us to follow at home for a delicious traditional meal.

Our group had so much fun with Yuka and her associates. All of the prep work was done ahead of time so that we were ready to go when we got there. She took care to make sure it was a positive experience for everyone. While the food was beautiful, it seemed possible to prepare it in a home kitchen as long as you have access to the ingredients. We communicated easily in English. You do a lot of forming the final products, but not as much of the actual cooking, so it is a little less hands on than some classes I have been to in the past. However, I don't think it would be possible to make so many dishes in just 2.5 hours otherwise. Yuka does send a Google Maps address ahead of time. It is the correct one as a sort of demonstration kitchen of the restaurant. It is not, however, the actual restaurant, so don't get confused and go to the wrong place.

Easy going and educational experience! Our host/sensei Ms. Yuka guided us through 5 common Nagoya region dishes. She provided some educational background on origins and differences in ingredients as well as why they are used. The class was hosted at an easy to access location as well. Would recommend!

My wife and I had a truly amazing experience with Yuka who guided us in English through cooking some traditional Japanese food. We're definitely going to take these skills home with us and recommend this experience to anyone even slightly interested cooking Japanese food.

Why Choose Gluten-Free Karaage?

Gluten intolerance or Celiac disease should not stop you from exploring Japanese culinary delights. Opting for gluten-free karaage means you get to enjoy the delicious taste and texture of fried chicken, traditionally seasoned and cooked to perfection, without the gluten. The secret to the fantastic flavor in these dishes often lies in the use of alternative flours such as rice or potato, which provide the same crispy coating sans gluten. These gluten-free versions ensure that the dish retains its beloved aromatic spices and juiciness. More than just a safer option for those with gluten sensitivity, gluten-free karaage offers a delightful twist to all food enthusiasts looking to try something new or maintain a healthier diet without compromising on taste.
