Thank you to Aki for providing our group of 4 a wonderful food sampling tour. I am a celiac and was very pleased that you were able to accommodate me. I know finding gluten free options is not always the easiest thing to do in Japan! Our group enjoyed the eclectic and interesting food choices! Thank you for providing the history of the area and interesting facts about Japan. It really added to the enjoyment of our time. Aki is a fantastic tour guide and we had a great time on the tour. He took us to several local spots that we would not have otherwise known about, and each spot had delicious food and drinks. He also gave a lot of background information about the local culture and was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour!

Aki took us to a part of Tokyo I would not have seen otherwise, down narrow streets packed with restaurants and bars, some of them under the train tracks. Delicious sake, sashimi, grilled meat, ramen and a friendly and personable host. Seeing a tiny bar with friendly customers was a highlight. Come very hungry!

We had an absolutely fantastic time, exploring Ueno's food scene with Aki. He is a very entertaining and knowledgeable guide, and it was a great way to start off our trip in Japan. The food and drinks were also great.Thanks!
