Ajidokoro Furukawa is located at the center of Hida city. It is very convenient to access sightseeing spots around Hida city. The architectural style is called “Machiya-zukuri,” and uses the traditional technique of craftsmanship from Hida city. For lunch, they have udon, Hida soba, Hida-Furukawa ramen, Hida beef curry, and Hooba-Miso steak teishoku. Hooba-Miso is one of the local specialties in Hida, which is homemade miso with green onions, shiitake mushrooms and other mountain vegetables grilled on the Hoonoki leaf. Other than that, there are various kinds of teishoku meanus are also available. Hida-jidori dishes such as Hidadori oyako don (990 yen) and Hidajidori curry (1,100 yen), mini-ramen and curry set (770 yen), and teuchi-soba (1,000 yen). There is also the one coin healthy lunch set (500 yen) which comes with Hida Koshihikari rice, small side dish, and miso soup or yomogi-udon, and the local lunch set (1,100 yen) whose ingredients are all locally sourced.
