Cruise Yakatabune Sushi Origami
An exclusive 8-seat sushi experience aboard a beautifully designed yakatabune, blending Edo culture with seasonal Tokyo views.
Restaurant Details
Set sail on a luxurious journey where tradition and innovation meet aboard Yakatabune Sushi Origami, Tokyo’s only fine dining sushi experience on the water. This eight-seat yakatabune offers a rare and refined encounter with the city’s culinary and cultural heritage, combining seasonal omakase sushi with breathtaking views of Tokyo Bay and the Sumida River.
As the boat glides through a three-hour journey that typically includes iconic sights such as Rainbow Bridge, Sumida River, Asakusa, Tokyo Sky Tree, Toyosu, Odaiba, and Tennozu, guests are treated to ever-changing panoramas that mirror the beauty of the cuisine itself. (Duration and route may vary depending on weather and number of guests.)
Curated under the guidance of Michelin-starred Sushi Murayama, the omakase course is an expression of masterful craftsmanship and the subtle beauty of Japan’s four seasons. Every piece of sushi is meticulously prepared using the finest seasonal ingredients, elevating the flavor and texture of each bite into a lingering memory. The ambiance aboard the boat reflects a quiet elegance—knife sounds resonate in stillness, and soft lighting enhances the refined performance of the chefs behind the counter.
The vessel itself is a work of art, designed by a master artisan known for crafting interiors for Michelin-starred establishments across Japan and abroad. The design embraces both tradition and modernity, featuring a nearly 10-meter L-shaped cypress counter, handcrafted details throughout, and an okudosan hearth, bringing warmth and authenticity to the space. With meticulous attention to detail, the ship offers an immersive setting where guests can savor the essence of Tokyo through every sense.
