Description
Edo Gin, located in the heart of Kamisu, Ibaraki, is a sushi lover's paradise. This restaurant is renowned for its exquisite sushi creations, including the Special Sushi Platter and the Ultimate Nigiri Sushi Set. Each piece of sushi is crafted with precision, ensuring a firm shape and beautiful presentation. The Grilled tai (sea bream) head, perfectly salted and topped with a soy sauce glaze, is another standout dish that showcases the chef's expertise.
The atmosphere at Edo Gin is warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for families and couples alike. While the counter seats are often reserved for regular patrons, the tables provide a comfortable setting for all guests. The service is personal, with orders taken by writing on paper, allowing the head chef to focus on crafting each dish himself. Though this may lead to a slower pace, the quality of the food is well worth the wait.
Despite a change in the head chef, Edo Gin has maintained its welcoming ambiance and dedication to quality. The restaurant's location offers convenient access with a reasonably spacious parking area, making it easy for visitors to enjoy a delightful dining experience. Whether you're indulging in the delicate flavors of ankimo or savoring the freshness of white fish carpaccio, Edo Gin promises an unforgettable culinary journey.
